Extremely tired boy!

Sorry its been so long since I’ve posted anything new. That overnight work-fest wore me out! This will be brief as I am heading to Nebraska to hook up my parents new Dell PC….hooray for them, they’re entering the 21st century!

I want to take a quick opportunity to welcome the newest member of our family:

My sister Abby and her husband Mike complete the adoption of Motley tomorrow. Welcome to the family little one, I hope your sibling (cat named Sunshine….name doesn’t match personality!) doesn’t eat you!

There are still conversations going on in several of the recent threads and a renewal of some conversations on this older post. Feel free to join in.

If you’re looking for something to do check out Snow Patrol‘s website. Their song Chocolate is one of my new favorites and the video is really interesting. You can see that video as well as the one for Run, another great song, on the site.

Have a great weekend everyone. I’ll be back to posting more regularly soon…..maybe now in fact!

  1. Mike said that the first week we need to be strict as to what he can and
can’t do b/c the first week is supposed to be the most important. But I disagree.
All I want to do is hold and cuddle him. I can’t wait to bring him home!!!! Thanks for
    the post, Carl.

  2. I rocked Razz when he was a puppy. He got lots of hugs and kisses right away! In the night when he’d cry and wimper I would get up and rock him!!! We were firm about potty training though!!!

    Congratulations!!!

  3. I got to see Motley’s cousin Zoe last night. That is one cute little dog. Good thing Tori wasn’t here or we’d already be hearing her pleading cries to get another dog.

  4. Boy, it’s been so long since I started a dog from puppyhood I forget how tiny they are. What a little cutie!

  5. Little Zoe was so cute. She was up on the table giving little kisses and wrestling with a little ball. Then, against Dad’s wishes, Mom put her on the floor and she immediately went over the living room rug and squatted down to do her business. Haley grabbed her, running towards the door while Zoe dropped turds on the hardwood floors. It was HILARIOUS!!! I don’t think Dad found it funny, however. πŸ™‚

  6. At least with dogs you can lock them up in a pet taxi. You aren’t supposed to do that with kids. πŸ™

  7. What a cute puppy!

You know, when my grandparents got a computer, people had lofty ambitions – we’ll be able to email, and share pictures of the grandkids….

Actually, all they use it for is to play solitaire.

  8. We got to meet Motley yesterday and he is a real cutie! Very fun and playful. We’re looking forward to babysitting him in May when his ‘parents’ are in Europe. πŸ™‚

  9. I love cats as well….IF they are the affectionate kind. But nothing beats a dog, sorry! The companionship, the walks in the park, the couch snuggling…its all just too good!

Motley’s ‘parents’ have a cat that isn’t very affectionate….he is chubby though! πŸ™‚
